Emergency situations are unfolding across the world all the time. Whether it’s a drought, an earthquake or a political conflict, the real-life effects of disaster can be catastrophic and long lasting for ordinary people.

With your support, we can give food, water and shelter to people in disaster zones. We can provide adequate sanitation facilities and access to healthcare to people fleeing conflict. Together, we can save lives and help to get people back on their feet again.

Life-saving food in emergencies

Conflicts and disasters can have a devastating effects on families’ ability to get food, putting huge numbers of children at risk of malnutrition. When an emergency hits, MWT leads the global response, coordinating other humanitarian organisations to deliver life-saving food to where it’s needed as quickly as possible.

Last year, conflicts around the world left 350 million children in need of humanitarian aid. In Bangladesh, one of the largest crises of recent times forced hundreds of thousands of Rohingya people to flee violence in Myanmar.

Let the man of wealth provide according to his means. As for the one with limited resources, let him provide according to whatever Allah has given him. Allah does not require of any soul beyond what He has given it. After hardship, Allah will bring about ease.
